Erasmus+ Consortia Coordinator Course
Increasing the Accessibility of International Learning:
Boost the success of your Erasmus+ mobility projects at our 3-day workshop in Cologne! Designed for consortium coordinators, this program offers practical strategies to enhance project quality, build strategic partnerships, and share innovative practices. Connect with peers, explore new ideas, and leave with actionable plans to strengthen your consortium’s impact.
Erasmus+ and Teacher Identity: How Do Mobilities Shape Who Teachers Become?
ETTAS e.V. invites you to a free online session with researcher Paulo César Martins on 12th November from 14:00 to 16:00 CET.
Together we will ask: Does Erasmus+ influence teachers’ professional identities? And how do mobilities contribute to shaping who teachers become?
Paulo will present findings from his recent research on the impact of Erasmus+ KA1 mobilities on teachers’ professional growth and identity, followed by an open discussion with participants.
The event is especially relevant for coordinators of Erasmus+ KA1 consortia who want to reflect on the long-term effects of mobilities, exchange perspectives, and connect with peers.
Participation is free of charge.
ETTAS e.V. takes leading role in new Erasmus+ project AI Learn and Lead
ETTAS e.V. is proud to join the Erasmus+ cooperation partnership AI Learn & Lead, a three-year initiative with partners from Iceland, Denmark, and Germany. The project explores how artificial intelligence can be used meaningfully in schools and supports teachers and principals in navigating ai transformation.
As lead partner for the development of an AI Guidebook, ETTAS will lead the design and test phase of a modular framework to help schools integrate AI in systemic, inclusive and pedagogically sound ways. Further tasks include policy analysis, quality assurance, support for pilot schools, and hosting the final international dissemination event in Germany.
The project was launched at a kick-off meeting in Reykjavík with 22 participants who explored the new European AI Literacy Framework, shared school experiences, and even prototyped their own chatbots. ETTAS will continuously share results and insights with its network to ensure that the outcomes are accessible and useful for the wider education community.
ETTAS e.V. Submits Position Paper on the Future of Erasmus+ in School Education
ETTAS e.V. (European Teacher Trainers Association) has actively contributed to the European Commission’s public consultation on the EU’s next long-term budget (MFF) by submitting a position paper focused on strengthening the school education sector in the upcoming Erasmus+ programme (2028–2035). As part of the ongoing initiative “EU funding with Member States and regions” (consultation open until 7 May 2025), our contribution highlights the urgent need for more inclusive, strategic, and sustainable approaches to mobility and cooperation in schools.
Drawing from the experience of over 150 school consortia coordinators across 16 countries, ETTAS calls for a stronger recognition of school consortia as development actors, the expansion of learner mobility, better alignment with national education systems, and a reduction of administrative burdens. Our position paper urges the Commission to embed quality, equity, and long-term planning into the future Erasmus+ design to ensure all schools and learners—regardless of context—can benefit from international opportunities.
We invite stakeholders and policymakers to engage with our recommendations and to support a bold, inclusive vision for Erasmus+ as a key driver of professionalisation, innovation, and European solidarity in school education.
